Is your cargo or freight time-sensitive? Then, you can choose to send it priority, and it will ship overnight depending on the destination. Sending your shipment as priority will ensure that your items arrive at their destination when you need them to.
Standard
If you have more time for your shipment to arrive at its destination, you can choose to make a standard shipment. This service is a dependable, cost-effective service, and your package will be delivered within 2 to 3 business days of when it is shipped.
Economy
Economy shipping is another money-saving option. When you choose this method, your items will be delivered within 3 to 5 business days of when it is shipped.
Next Flight (Counter to Counter)
If the timing of your shipment is even too fast for priority, we offer Next Flight. We will ship your items either the same day or first thing the following day, door-to-door, so your items gets to its destination as quickly as possible.
Hotshot regional deliveries
Are you in a hurry for your shipment to be delivered locally from where it ships? Then, we can expedite your delivery to arrive the same day.
Charter
Do you have an urgent shipment? We have good news for you! Alaska Air Forwarding maintains a close relationship with reputable Alaska air charter operators to get your cargo to its destination even when scheduled airlines are not flying.
Shipment consolidation
Arrangements can be made to “Ship and Hold” freight from various shippers and consolidate it into one shipment to the final delivery address. Consolidation saves money on minimum charges. Ask us if this feature will work for you.
Intermodal
Through our Freight Management Services division, Alaska Air Forwarding can also handle shipments by water to Anchorage or Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and part or all-truck moves anywhere in the country. In addition, we load weekly containers to Dutch Harbor at our Seattle location.
Hazardous Materials
Do you have hazardous materials that need to be shipped? You’re in luck! We have a Haz-Mat professional on staff, and if it’s legal, we move it!
Packaging and Crating
Depending on your drop-off location, we can package and crate your products for you. Ask for this service at your next drop-off.
