This month, we’d like to move on to FAQ #2: “What type of cargo/freight do you ship?" As it states on our FAQ page: “We ship a variety of inanimate objects for various clients in different industries. We have the experience and expertise to transport massive equipment and large inventory shipments under extreme conditions.”
Since we spend much of our time traveling to and from Alaska, we thought it would be a great idea to do a blog series about our 49th state. During the more than fifty years that we have been in business, we have made countless trips to the state, however, it never ceases to amaze us how many people we meet who have never visited this incredibly beautiful and diverse state.

While you are most likely aware, how often do you take the time to actually READ the FAQs? Admittedly, most of us never read that section. This being the case, here at Alaska Air Forwarding, we thought it would be a GREAT idea to do a blog series on our FAQs.
The freight transportation industry is one that is vital to the national and global economy. Consider the fact that every single transaction that we engage in as consumers is tied to the transportation industry. Online orders are shipped to us through a freight carrier, our food is supplied to our supermarkets via freight and even the gasoline we pump into our vehicles is supplied to gas stations through the freight carriers supporting their respective fuel companies.
